Personal Experience

Amarachi Okpara is an associate in the firm.

She has garnered considerable professional experience working in the litigation department of the firm.
Amara is known for her astute intellect in connecting solutions with issues arising in Litigation, Real Estate and Corporate Law. She advises as well as acts for several clients on a wide range of Civil, Corporate, Family, Criminal and property matters.

She was a participant at the National workshop on the Review of – The Draft Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Reform Proposals and The Draft Fedreal Penal/Criminal Code Reform Proposals.

Amara was the welfare Secretary of the Young Lawyers’ Forum of the Nigerian Bar Association,Owerri branch and presently elected as the Vice – Chair of the Forum.

She organized the First Young Lawyers’ Summit of the Nigerian Bar Association, Owerri Branch.

Following the agitations at the Nigerian Bar Association, Owerri Branch on charges on Deed, she was appointed the Chairperson, Young Lawyers’ Forum Owerri Branch on ‘Committee for reform on Charges of Deed of Assignment’ (2019) to make recommendations to the parent body on that.

She has also served in various committees of the Nigerian Bar Association, Owerri Branch.
Amara was the Chairperson, Local Organising Committee Christian Lawyers Association of Nigeria National Conference, Owerri Branch (Ibadan 2019).

She is the Organising Secretary of the Christian Lawyers Association of Nigeria, Owerri branch and she has worked in several Volunteer programmes.

Education

She has an LLB from Imo State University, Owerri, and also holds an LLM in Abia State University, Uturu and has been called to the Nigerian Bar.

She is proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power point and Microsoft Excel.

She is a member, Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators.
